Matching Pairs

The deck contains 36 cards (18 pairs).

• Set 1: Parrot, Hen, Jellyfish, Bee, Snail, Octopus, Butterfly, Frog, Hedgehog, Deer, Raccoon, Panda, Fish, Turtle, Mouse, Seal, Ostrich, Bird
• Set 2: Rabbit, Penguin, Bear, Cat, Ladybug, Bat, Owl, Crocodile, Rhinoceros, Dog, Cow, Monkey, Elephant, Lion, Giraffe, Ram, Fox, Horse

Game variants:

1. The cards should be shuffled and laid out on the table face up. The goal of the game is to find all the pairs and stack them. For an added challenge, you can use two decks.
2. The deck of cards can also be used for the traditional "memory" game. This game is for one or more players. The cards should be laid out face down so that the picture is hidden. The player starts the game by turning over any two cards on the table. If the revealed cards are identical (i.e., a pair), the player scores a point, removes both cards from the board, and gets another turn. If the cards do not match, the player puts them back in their place and the turn passes to the next player. The game continues with players taking turns revealing cards, trying to remember their positions to find pairs. The game ends when all pairs of cards have been found. The player with the most pairs wins the game.
3. Puzzle – divide the deck into two colours. One colour should be laid out in order, face up. From the second deck, take one card, find the identical one among the laid-out cards of the other color, and place one card on top of the other.
